Geoffrey Dorfman, a trustee of the Milton Resnick and Pat Passlof Foundation, is a painter and writer on cultural history, in particular — but not limited to — Modernism and Modern Art. He has authored several articles for Artforum. He received a Henry Ward Ranger Prize from the National Academy of Design in 2006 and an NEA grant for art criticism. This year a solo exhibition of his latest work was held at the Elizabeth Moss Gallery in Portland, ME. David Reed lives in New York City. His paintings combine concepts and techniques used in traditional representational painting with the philosophical and expressive possibilities of recent abstract painting. Sometimes his paintings combine disparate elements that typically do not fit together. His most recent solo exhibitions include shows at Gagosian, Basel (2022), Gagosian, NY (2020 and 2017); Neues Museum Nürnberg, Germany (2019); and Kunstmuseum Winterthur, Switzerland (2018).
